500 Songs for Kids TONIGHT! - May 6, 2008

I'm playing a song at Smith's Olde Bar tonight for 500 Songs For Kids, an awesome charity event put on by the Songs for Kids Foundation.

500 SONGS FOR KIDS is a 10-day live music marathon running from May 1st to May 10th at Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta, Georgia. We will be counting down the 500 GREATEST SING-A-LONG SONGS OF ALL TIME with 500 DIFFERENT ARTISTS. This will be the largest musician involved charity event ever in Georgia, bringing together roughly 1500 individually performing musicians - all for an incredible cause. Songs For Kids Foundation is a non-profit foundation that enriches the lives of children in need through music. We bring musicians year-round to hospitals, special needs kids camps, and all places where kids are in need.

Please come out and have a great time for a great cause!
Doors open at 6:30, my slot is at 8:15pm.
Admission is ten bucks, 100% for the charity!

Record Store Day is Tomorrow! - April 18, 2008

Saturday, April 19th is Record Store Day!

Record Store Day is a chance to celebrate your local independent music retailer. Many stores are having in-store events to celebrate. Please take this opportunity to find an independent record store near you and check them out.

Stores in the Atlanta area that are participating:

Circle Sky Records

Criminal Records

And my personal fave, Decatur CD

Please support these great stores, because they support indie artists like me!
